I'll miss you Cell Phone

I'm so irritated right now. I lost my cell phone. The funny thing is that I lost it on Sunday, but I really just assumed it would show up, and now four days later it's really hitting me that it's lost. I mean really lost. I have looked everywhere, even going through two different snow filled parking lots! How do things just disappear like this? I remember the very last time I used it, on my way to church, set it on the seat next to me. When I got home from church I searched the seat, didn't see it, but wasn't really worried, I thought it fell into one of my many church bags or something. But no. It's nowhere. I swear there has to be a place in this world where things disappear to, and they are just floating around in their own little universe to never be found again. Oh well. I just have to buy a new phone now, which makes me sad. So I'd like to say goodbye to my lost cell phone, and that I love you cell phone, and I hope your new universe is much more enjoyable than your stay with me has been....

There's no possibility I could count the number of cell phones I've lost in the past year. Luckily I have a Jared with a large stockpile. Very sad.

Cherie Call has a fantastic song about a place where all lost things go. Very cute. I'll have to copy the whole CD for you sometime.

Sorry. On the upside, maybe you can upgrade!! (is that really the same picture as what your phone was or is it just a generic phone picture?)

That's so frustrating because you know it has to be somewhere! I loved your wish for your phone's future in its new universe. Cracked me up!

If your luck is anything like mine you will find your phone after you get a new one.

Isn't it awful to lose your cell phone. I haven't lost mine technically, but I have misplaced it for a day or so. I gave my phone to my daughter, Ryley, to play with, stupid idea. She dropped it on the floor, one of the many times, but this last time it shattered and little blue numbers were all over the store's floor. I was so sad.

I am constantly losing things like my phone and my keys, usually for weeks at a time. they usually show up in my coat pocket or in a pair of jeans I rarely wear, or after I've replaced them. so frustrating.

Hi Regina! How fun that you're commenting, are you now going to start a blog of your own? I'm sure you have extremely amusing stories to share raising four little boys!
Mandi, no that is not the exact picture of my phone, I don't think they make mine anymore, it's an old model. And no I don't get an upgrade. We only have four months left on our phone contract, so we are getting the cheapest option possible right now, and then when we do a new contract I can get an upgrade, at least that's what Tom tells me.
