Wow! That was fun and I was shocked at how many were new to me, but I do have a few comments/questions for you . . . Do you still care about the elk/dad/pride thing? I don't think it put me too high on his list since he doesn't want to know me or my children either. You ARE the best artist I've seen and I think it a pity if you are planning on not developing that talent anymore (Nate thinks you could make prints of Mother Theresa and make loads of $$$). Did they REALLY think you were retarded b/c I don't think I've ever heard that one! I must apologize for my part in #29 - ditching school -- sorry I always begged you to leave early with me when I was a senior and was done for the day and you weren't - that one is all on me. When you're gorgeous without makeup - like you - you don't need to wear makeup everyday - I wish I could look as good as you without anything! Be grateful for that! Yes, I remember the swirly on Loma Vista Circle, right? I was not a part of it and thought it was horrible. I think it's the first time I heard you say a really bad word too. . . =)
okay Megan I am going to make my list of 100 things. Iloved yours, it was so much fun to read. The crazy thing is ,that stupid me, I have tried to write another blog but can't seem to figure out how. Does this suprise anyone at all? My love/hate relationship with computers. I will call you for more on help to get going again.
OK, I missed out on the retarded thing & the swirly, but I do remember you shaving a neighbor boy's legs. That cracks me up to no end. As for the artist thing, I agree with Mandi & am shocked that you put it in past tense. I also agree that you were blessed to be the only Hendrix girl (sorry Mandi & JoDee!) who looks fabulous with or without make-up. So I get to be jealous of both your skin & Gina's size 2's.
I'm so glad you made a list!
Megan! I'm glad you made a list. I feel like I know you because I've known you forever, but I really don't know the grown up YOU.
I remember once you tried to beat me up with a bat -- all weekend at the cabin. And, I've seen your art work in Amy's boys' room, so I don't think you can past tense yourself on the artist thing.
This was fun!
That was really fun to read. Don't worry, I think it is nuts that my parents still live in the same house. I am often thinking of what could they do to make it better and how much it might cost.
megan, i agree with your sisters about the art. my mom still has your original artwork hanging on her living room wall, and it's one of her prized possessions!!! next time i see you, you'll have to fill me in on your wild past. i had no idea you were a school-skipper and a bb-gun shooter! wow. very nice. :)
