An apple a day...

...does not keep the doctor away.

I mistakenly called their bluff, Collin and Talin's that is.

Last Wednesday when Collin told me he didn't feel well, I totally ignored him, and thought he was faking. How wrong was I. He later threw up in the car on the way to a doctor's appointment for Caleb.

And yesterday when Talin told me he was sick, I totally accused him of playing hooky. How wrong was I, when he puked at the doctor's office (at another Caleb appointment).

I'm done calling their bluff, it seems that I'm being made a fool of here.

And something funny-at the doctor's yesterday Caleb was getting his pre-op physical done. Well, the doctor had to check the goods under the diaper, and while he's doing that Talin turns to him and says, "You know, you really should put gloves on if you're going to be doing that."
Not kidding, those were the kids exact words.

I smiled and shrugged, what was there to say?

I've heard all of these stories of course, but they're still unbelievable. I'm excited for Maria to come back to live with you tomorrow! I think you need her!

This is Maria and I am nervous, excited and already tired! But I will arrive tonight and sooth those savage children. Caleb will give me a dirty look but I am prepared because I know Collin and Talin understand what it means to have a servant - Reading books, giving treats, hugging and kissing and listening to all the their troubles.

First off, I can't keep up with you, you posting fiend! I love your hair -- as always you look darling with that cut. And I love all those stories about throwing up and the washing the hands bit - I'm glad you decided to post them for posterity's sake. Your son's wives will thank you some day when they get to read all this! Oh, and have fun taking Maria away from us (although here in Mesa we don't make her our servant, but then again our needs are different) and don't work her too hard!

I meant to comment on this yesterday but got distracted. I can't believe your boys keep getting sick when you are at the doctor's office for Caleb. How awful!

I love Caleb's little tie. Could he be any cuter?
