Just wanted to wish everyone a
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Hope everyone enjoys eating turkey and pie!
We went around this morning and asked everyone what they were grateful for and here are the answers.
Talin: I'm grateful that my brother could have a nice day. And for my giraffe.
Collin: I'm grateful for my Tiger and camping out. (??) I'm grateful for my birthday. (birthday post to come later)
Tom: I'm grateful for Talin's nose, and Collin's toes and everything in between. (I'm snuggly sitting in between the two of them this morning watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade and typing)
Me: I'm grateful for my four boys, a warm home (it's freezing and snowed all day yesterday), and supportive family, and working cars, and peppermint ice cream and eggnog, and honey baked ham.
And this is so off the subject and has nothing to do with Thanksgiving, but I've found a little boy name that I love and Tom hates, and I needed to hear what everyone else thinks. Be honest. If you hate it or love it or don't care, I'd like to know.

Hmmm. . . I had heard that you liked Tiger for a name. Tiger, River -- to be honest, neither would even enter my mind as possibilities and sound rather strange to me, but it's your baby. I'm glad that you're basking in your hubby's presence since you actually get him to yourself for a few days -- enjoy it!
Peppermint ice cream and eggnog. Amen. I can't buy eggnog here because I'm the only one who would drink it - holy fat calories! I love picturing you & your 4 boys cozying up inside as it snows outside.
I actually like the name River...but it's definitely different. Far better than Tiger, I say!
I love the name. Is Talin talking about the giraffe in my box? That took a rather indirect root to Des Moines (actually Mandi found it hidden in her garage). It sounds like you had a relaxing Thanksgiving and I say "amen" to that! We did too. Cyndee
I love River Chambers different is always good..... Oh well you will know what to name him once you see him.... Hope you had a GREAT Thanksgiving I went to Rach's sisters house then to Scott's in-laws for dessert... Corey got a GREAT buck on the Kiabab 1 shot kill he was thrilled as we all know how Corey's shot is.... Love you...
I think I would pick something that my husband likes too. I don't think I would pick River, but like Mandi said, it is your baby. Good luck in finding a name for your little one.
No eggnog for me, but peppermint ice cream is a definite yes! We had some tonight, in fact, with homemade hot fudge sauce. So good!
River is different, but I like it, and I think it sounds good with your other boys' names. Tiger sounds too much like a nickname to me -- like people would always be asking what his "real" name was.
I really don't like eggnog, but anything peppermint is fantastic.
I also like the name River.
