Happy Halloween

Beggar's Night
Here in Des Moines the kids don't go trick-or-treating on Halloween, everyone gets dressed up on Beggar's Night, which is the night before Halloween and goes out from 6-8. Very organized.
The only thing is that you end up having an over load of candy, because last night we went out and then tonight is our ward trunk-or-treat night. Yikes! I don't know what I'm going to do with all the junk in the house.
Who am I kidding? Of course I'll eat it. Aren't they scary?
Talin, our creepy vampire.

And Collin, our aggressive pirate.

Getting excited to go out!

Tom thought they were pretty scary too.

Top row: Talin, Collin, Caitlin, & Aaron
Bottom row: Hannah, Suzie & Elise
These were our fellow trick-or-treaters last night.
That back row was a scary bunch!
After we were done, Talin, Suzie and Collin sat at the door waiting for trick-or-treaters to come by. They loved handing out the candy. Maybe I can convince them to hand out some of their hard earned candy tonight at the the trunk-or-treat. Probably not.

Do you remember the last time that Talin was a vampire? As I recall the night after trunk or treat you went into pre-term labor. Please no repeat of that event, okay! I wont be there to drive you to the hospital this time!

Great pictures of your boys. They are so cute when they are trying to be scary!

Your boys are so stinkin' cute! The cross-legged Collin cracked me up as well. Love how their personalities shine through!

Yeah, Collin kind of looks like Grandpa Jones with those crossed legs. They all look cute.

I love the face make-up. How fun that they were actual Halloween characters! I so have wanted Abby to be a witch for the last 3 years but she won't go for it.

They are so cute and scary! I think the effort to be scary just makes them cuter!
