It's been awhile since I've spent an entire day at home with my children. I've felt a little guilty cause I haven't been spending much time with them since I've been working on the house. So today we were at home all afternoon. Collin had a tough day, a really tough day, a lot of screaming, yelling and kicking. So Talin made him some cards. The card on the left (told to me by Talin) is to be held up for Collin when he is making bad choices. And the card on the right should be held up when his choices are good and it's a picture of Collin saying okay. This seriously cracks me up. And with all seriousness I've been told to use these for Collin as a reminder, Talin even took the time to go over the cards with Collin.
And then today I noticed that Talin had written on their bunk beds. I was quite irritated at first, then I thought it was kind of cute. When I approached Talin about it I seriously expected him to deny writing his and Collin's name on the bunk bed. Instead he was quite excited and explained to me that he put his name on the top bunk bar so that he would know that's where he sleeps, and Collin's name on the bottom bunk bar so that he would know that's where he slept. Once again, I'm cracking up at this brain that never stops going.

He is SO funny! What a cute (and a little bossy) boy! I love the first picture with the random letters everywhere - that's what Savy does too. Aren't kids funny?
How cute. I remember wanting to write my name everywhere. Just like to say, look mom I can write my name.
What a cute little personality Talin has. I love hearing your stories about him. It makes sense to write your name on your bed so you don't get confused. Smart kid.
You definitely can't get after the boy. So cute. 4 must be a sign-posting age. Mandi was just telling me that Wesley now has a box he asks Tyler to write messages on every day. "Dad can you write 'Wesley is sad because of the things Dad said to him'? So T writes it and Wesley keeps the box outside his door. Apparently he updates (with dad's help) the message frequently.
I CAN'T WAIT to see your boys (and you, of course). I seriously think about it all the time. They are so dang adorable.
