As I finished up Tom says, "This isn't was I was envisioning when you said you'd cut his hair".
"This is all I can do", was my reply. So he says, "I'm proud of you."
And I sniffled back the loss of those long locks.
And he really doesn't look that different. So I feel as though I won. I satisfied my husband and all those other people insisting I cut Caleb's hair, even the neighbor had his two cents in the argument.
Yep, he's still my little boy. With some extra wiggles, we're still adjusting to that.

Good job! I was afraid you would shave it but to my relief you did what I envisioned - I know others had other ideas. Can't wait for another season of moving. Yahoo!
I think he looks cute. Even if you didn't cut as much as people thought you should. :)
Cutting littles' hair is so hard and scary for me. Even now my heart pounds out of my chest everytime I give Ry a trim. I think you did a great job! He couldn't be cuter.
Ha! I'm stunned that you did this, Megs. Good job! He's darling, of course (but you do look a bit stoned in that last picture when I blew it up).
Uhm, would that be your neighbor who walks around nude (or something creepy - I don't remember the details except that I think you saw him naked once - didn't he answer the door naked?). Anyway. . . Caleb looks cute and I can't believe how long you let his hair get! I put Reagan's hair in two ponies today and thought about what cool things you'd do with Caleb's hair if he were a girl.
It looks great! I'm dreading the little boy hair cutting days! Yikes!
