Sunday morning we woke up to a snow day, and church was canceled. Apparently someone forgot to tell this little guy that it wasn't a good idea to get out of bed today.
How cute is he?
I leave peanuts outside for him everyday, I like squirrels. They might be diseased, but they're cute.

Here's the backyard. It wasn't a bad amount of snow, but we had a lot of ice built up under the snowfall, and some nasty winds creating blizzard conditions.
It's only this beautiful first thing in the morning, when nothing is disturbed yet.

That little squirrel is so cute! I think it's sweet that you leave peanuts for himm
That is a cute squirrel. How nice to not have to sit through church and be uncomfortable for 3 hours.
Holy snow! Nate will be loving it there - not! That is the cutest squirrel picture I've ever seen . . . have you named him yet? What was Grandpa's squirrel up at the cabin - Lucky? I can't remember.
Crazy snow...it looks gorgeous though (from my warm house, that is :)..)
WOW the squirrel's name was Friendly he was the BEST little squirrel ever.
That is the cutest squirrel ever! I used to feed the squirrels peanuts when we lived in Chicago, too. It made my neighbor SO mad because she said they were pests. Hungry, cute pests in the snow are hard to turn away, though.
