I sent my baby off to full day kindergarten today. It was tough. I almost cried, but sucked it in, I don't know why I'm so nervous for him, I'm sure he's having a great day. He's been so excited. I kept asking him how he felt to be going to school, and he would smile and say how happy he was to finally be going to kindergarten.

And then in the background was Collin's voice, "I not happy about it". Oh yes, when the attention is not on him, he's typically not. But his time will come, it's going to be hard for him to lose his best friend all day. I'll have to be gentle with him and the attitude that is sure to come.

Have you seen a happier boy? I have him in an apron because he's a notoriously messy eater and he was having waffles with syrup, so I didn't want him to be all crusty on his first day of school. Is he not adorable!

Oh my, that is pure joy on his face! He's so dang stinking cute! I'm sure he'll do fine. What time does he get home? When does Collin start preschool? That will probably help distract him for the mornings at least while his brother is gone.
Definitley adorable. I don't know that I can currently grasp the concept of my boys being out on their own for an entire school day. They're so mom-centered right now. Poor Collin. Being left behind has got to be the harder part.
Love how you have your pots & pans hanging!
I love his little lunch box. I think that is what Bethany is most excited about. What cute boys you have. I hope Collin finds some friends in preschool to make up for the lost brother. Good Luck!!
Holy cow I didn't check blogs for a little while and you have posted tons!! Congrats on starting kindergarden. Poor Collin, that is would be hard to loose you playmate. I applaud you for having your Sunday School class over to help make cookies. I bet they loved it and now love you even more!
How cute! I'm so glad that he's excited about his first day. That has to make things easier. Poor Collin. Hopefully he will adjust quickly.
Oh, he's so cute and he looks so excited about his first day. I hope you all adjust well! I always struggle with the first day of school. I like them home with me.
What a Q.T! Our school just opened full day K. With an option of 1/2 day too. I love this age. Well, I love every age!haha But at school, they are such a cute group -soaking it all up like sponges and have those adorable cute teeth smiles ;)
I can't believe it! Was it really five years ago that you moved to Flag and I fell in love with that sweet boy?
